ABOUT DEADBOTZ KID
Hi. My name is Deadbotz Kid and I am a robotic cowboy from Te Aroha, New Zealand.
While I may not be able to ride horses or rope cattle, I can make you a slave to the dancefloor with my blend of rock and dance music, influenced by Robbie Williams, Daft Punk, U2, Bruce Springsteen, and Elton John.
The roots of Deadbotz Kid can be found on Stanley Avenue where I wrote my first songs and put together my first releases "Revolver" and "85B Stanley Avenue". Since then, I've taken a step back to work on other projects and refine my skills.
After a 10-year hiatus, my rocketship is about to take off once again. My new album Shadow Theory arrives on February 18th, with a tour and the re-release of my debut album set to arrive soon.

SHADOW THEORY
Following a 10-year hiatus to work on other projects and student politics as well as the immiment digital release of his back-catalog, we can announce that New Zealand producer Deadbotz Kid will be releasing his new studio album "Shadow Theory" on February 18th, 2023.
Influenced by Indie Rock and elements Dance Music Shadow Theory was written and recorded in Morrinsville, Te Aroha, and Hamilton, New Zealand; in secret recording sessions over 2020-2022, the album details his journey through the pandemic years and his subsequent battle with mental health issues and life events within that time. Featuring 11 tracks and 7 guest vocalists from the USA, Argentina, Hungary, and France; Shadow Theory clocks in at 49 Minutes of rock and dance magic.
"These songs were never meant to be released. To me, this was a therapeutic exercise to express how I was feeling in a very shaky and uncertain period of my life. Unknowingly these songs came from that therapeutic exercise as a blessing and have acted as a vehicle to reconnect with life, faith, family, and the thing I care about the most that I lost sight of during the pandemic and the madness that came with it. Shadow Theory will be available on CD, Vinyl, and Digital Streaming outlets on February 18th, 2023. Pre-Orders will begin on February 1st, 2023, for all platforms. In the meantime, you can stream the first single from the album "Brightest Star" on Deadbotz's website and on streaming sites from February 1st, 2023.
